Our Services
The Neighborhood Health Care Network has outlined
an aggressive strategic plan for 2006 to meet the
multiple challenges facing its member clinics: rising health care
costs, decreased state and local government funding, increasing
numbers of uninsured, and increased demand for patient outcome data
reporting.
The plan focuses on four strategic business
functions with defined objectives and return on investment: information
technology, clinical quality and education, care system development
and managed care contracting, and community outreach and advocacy.
The Network also provides joint fundraising services for member clinics,
marketing and communication activities that raise awareness about
the value of the health care safety net in the community, and shared
services and purchasing. Each of the services are subsidized primarily
through grant funding, in addition to member fees and earned income.

services, see column at right.
